Fri - Sat Notes

Art’s Birthday 2010, Swansea, echo Thursday: BBC Radio Wales Arts Show – Western Mail – Friday: midday, Glynn Vivian gallery, Matt Hulse, Barrie Hole, The Audible Picture Show! (Bigger audience than Gene Siskel Film Center, Chicago!), no questions, Matt and Barney merrily filled the gap - Elysium gallery, decked out nice, “Art’s Birthday” written with a sponge in mud (from a bucket) in the window, giant birthday card (erection first thing drawn on card), false moustaches (“no moustache, no drink”), some little cakes, lots of people, portrait painting corner, Caroline Sabin’s “Small Tides” opens downstairs!, one quarter of the Stylophone Orchestra of Great Britain arrives (plus entourage).
